Claret at Canvas, Through the Eyes of a Homeowner

The WHA award-winning Canvas community by Tri Pointe Homes, located in Anaheim, is a newly completed master-planned neighborhood made up of single family and multi-family homes. It has a centrally located pool, club house, mini park with BBQ areas, game lawn, and is in the heart of downtown Anaheim.

In December 2021, I moved into the Claret Residence 3 at the very last phase of the community development and was excited to be a California homeowner. Merry Christmas to us! With the housing market being as crazy as it was and continues to be, we felt confident in our purchase. Working at WHA and getting to befriend the designers and other team members who worked on these homes made me feel like I was purchasing something that was meticulously curated and executed with the highest of quality. Tri Pointe did excellent work and far exceeded our expectations for move-in protocols and procedures. The very minor worries I did have, dissipated quickly after settling in. Tri Pointe worked with us throughout the entire construction process; including us in frame walks, in-person show room sessions and construction progress visits whenever we asked.

One of my favorite attributes to this home is the walkability to popular social spots, restaurants, and its well-lit sidewalks for nighttime strolls with my dogs. From my front door, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to local wineries, breweries, and the Anaheim Packing House. Five minutes more will get you to Downtown Anaheim where you can find weekly farmer’s markets, events, cafés and parklets. The best attribute within my home is the office being on the base level and separate from the rest of the home. This allows me to have my own space to focus without distraction as well as the mindful ability to detach from work once I leave the floor.

WHA and Tri Pointe Homes did an excellent job. As a user, I am very impressed with the structures and would gleefully recommend these two companies to any future home buyers!
