Located in Rancho Mission Viejo, California, Esencia’s newly opened amenities, The Garage, The Hangout and The Getaway offer residents a wide range of exciting new recreational opportunities including thee clubhouses and two playhouses with architecture, materials and color palettes designed by WHA.

The Garage

With its contemporary farmhouse architecture, operable garage doors and playful color palette, The Garage sets the tone for casual gathering in a spacious, modern interior especially appealing to the young and young-at-heart. Outdoor dining and seating areas, a communal tool shed (tools included), and two child-size structures, invite residents to stay and play, relax or mingle. The Garage also doubles as the visitor center while the homes are being sold in the NorthWalk Neighborhoods.

The Hangout

Near The Garage, communal gathering is encouraged at The Hangout. The pavilion includes table and chairs, prep area, fire pit, and a custom fountain. Architecture and interiors were designed with a modern vibe punctuated by bright colors with nature the centerpiece. Check this amenity out after dusk to experience Esencia’s “chandelier trees” with hanging, handcrafted light fixtures by L.A. artist Adam Tenenbaum.

The Getaway

In the Hilltop Neighborhoods, The Getaway’s clean, contemporary architecture is paired with earthy hues for a more Zen-inspired amenity designed exclusively for the 55+ residents of Esencia. Communal gathering spaces are plentiful indoors and outdoors with lush lawns, meandering fire pit and gurgling pond providing a relaxed ambiance for neighborhood socializing.
