WHAt’s Ahead for Our Bay Area Office
It’s full speed ahead into the second half of 2025! WHA’s Bay Area office will be moving into a new location at 6101 Bollinger Canyon Road, Suite 210, San Ramon, CA, in the beginning of August. This new location will perfectly position us to continue our work on the next phases of ongoing redevelopment within the Bishop Ranch Business Park. It will also support continued collaboration with our valued clients and consultant partners throughout the Greater Bay Area, the Capitol Corridor, and the Central Valley.
This August will also mark our 28th year since the firm’s first branch office opened its doors in Pleasanton back in 1997. As a full-service architecture and planning firm, WHA has worked continuously in Northern California since its inception, and by the mid-nineties, it was becoming clear that new, large-scale master plans—such as those taking shape in and around the Bay Area, including the Dougherty Valley, Dublin Ranch, and San Joaquin County—could benefit from a more locally based presence. Our firm strategized that a Pleasanton location would best serve the needs of our long-time clients. It would also provide new opportunities in the surrounding areas, as subdivisions were conceptualized and our builder clients secured land for new neighborhoods.
As we settled into that first office in the Hacienda Business Park, our local presence quickly began to pay dividends in a variety of ways. The firm’s long-standing commitments to outstanding client service and innovative, market-driven solutions played a major role. Increased involvement in the BIA Bay Area, HomeAid of Northern California, and the CBIA also helped connect us with new clients, both large and small. Expert new additions to staff meant that WHA’s client services could now include Colors, Materials, and Graphics, and that our Planning and Production Teams could be further strengthened. It didn’t take long to outgrow two different addresses in Pleasanton before we departed for a new office in San Ramon in 2004.
Our Bay Area office today continues to shape the future of housing at several dynamic new communities such as One Lake in Fairfield, Lagoon Valley in Vacaville, and River Islands in Lathrop – as well as many other locations across the most active housing markets around the Bay and across Northern California. The master plans we worked on when we opened that first office in 1997 now include thousands of single-family and multi-family homes across dozens of thriving neighborhoods. It’s a legacy that continues to guide our full-service efforts today, drawing on everything we’ve learned along the way. Feel free to come see us at our new location in San Ramon or connect with us online to discuss how we can help bring your next project to life.
