Shimmer & Splash at One Lake

The city of Fairfield, California is located just north of the Bay Area between Walnut Creek and Sacramento along Interstate I-80 in Solano County. Ideally situated within a short driving distance of California’s Wine Country to the west, the Sacramento River Delta, and the Central Valley to the east, this city of 115,000 residents offers a dynamic lifestyle to a diverse and growing population. With transportation links to the Bay Area and Sacramento, small-town values, and comparatively affordable housing costs, Fairfield has been an attractive option for homebuyers seeking quality and value.

WHA is proud to have collaborated with TriPointe Homes on two new neighborhoods at One Lake, a new development in Fairfield by McKinley Partners, with several neighborhoods already under construction. Anchored by a new, centrally located lake with a trail system and a 21-acre park district as the heart of the community, residents will be able to enjoy kayaking, paddle-boarding, and any number of outdoor experiences along the pathways around the lake. The recently opened Glass House welcomes visitors with community information, coffee, and/or a quick lunch. A resident’s lakeside clubhouse and pool facility is already on the boards as are restaurant/retail/marketplace areas, a dog park, a community amphitheater, and a community library.

Shimmer, a neighborhood of 60 conventionally plotted single-family detached homes offers three different plans ranging in size from 2,600–3,000 square feet. These 2-story homes feature contemporary, open plans with 2-car garages, standard lofts, and/or dens, and optional outdoor rooms. The options program allows an increase of up to five bedrooms, live-in suites, and enhanced master baths, offering maximum flexibility to a broad range of buyers. The carefully considered design theme continues to the exterior of the homes, enhanced by a mix of stucco and siding with an array of architectural styles and complementary colors,  creating a lively street scene with broad curb appeal.

Splash is a neighborhood of 72 single-family court homes ranging in size from 2,350–2,800 square feet. These 2-story homes utilize a shared motor court for vehicular access, innovative site plotting (including some lots with direct trail access), and privatized front entries with generous porches giving an upscale feel to the arrival point at each residence. All plans in this series include a 2-car garage, an open lower-level floor plan with kitchens featuring island seating. The generously sized primary and secondary bedrooms (with up to four bedrooms) feel even larger due to the 9’ plate height at the upper level. The exteriors of all plans include a generous mix of stone, brick, and siding with thoughtfully crafted color palettes that bring the architectural styles to life.
