We each carried a box through the tight, low entry that pinched the crowd before releasing it into the spacious Chumash Auditorium, where massive concrete columns support the high ceiling that covered the bustling preparations for the Cal Poly Career Fair. We had different reactions;

As an Oakland resident and a graduate school student, I love the San Francisco Bay Area’s abundance of hipster, high-end coffee shops. Good coffee (translation: caffeine) and good community are important to fueling my life. I am particularly excited about another Berkeley cafe opening this summer; however, this one has a unique focus.

On January 26th, AMCAL Multi-Housing held the grand opening of their latest affordable housing community, Oceana Apartments, in Huntington Beach, their 100th completed project.  Several public officials in attendance complimented the development as a model for future projects.

WHA welcomes back Lily Lee Martinez as a Principal in the Architectural Color Design studio based in our San Ramon office. For those who don’t know Lily, she was with our firm from 1999 to 2009 and is the sister of Robert Lee, Senior Principal, Community Planning. We are excited about Lily’s return to team WHA in our San Ramon office.
